Rafal has been passionate about electronics since childhood. In particular, he’s always been fascinated by automotive electronics, embedded systems and automation-robotics.

He gained a technical automotive education as an unenrolled extramural student. His drive, enthusiasm, hard work and passion for electronics initiated his career in the automotive industry, then opened the door to progress and expand his career horizons.

First came five years’ experience as an electrical engineer at a district vehicle control station where he working mainly on VAG Group cars. He followed this with three years at a VW and ŠKODA main dealer where he grew in his role and built considerable expertise as a diagnostics and electronics technician.

Next, Rafal spent three years designing refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. He followed this with two years wotking on diagnostics, electronics and maintenance at MAN DAF Buckingham.

His interests include car electronics and automation systems, graphical visualisation, SCADA and HMI design, electronics design and PCB Low-level programming. With his understanding of Network CAN-Bus principles and
communication protocols, he’s built several testing devices that have proved invaluable when analysing vehicle problems.
