Engine control units (ECUs), gearbox modules, ABS controllers, airbag units, and dozens of other modules run on software that must be kept current, correctly coded, and properly calibrated. IMPORTANT: ECU and software work must only be performed by technicians with access to manufacturer diagnostic tools and genuine VAG coding procedures. Incorrect coding can disable safety systems, trigger fault codes, or cause component damage. Always use a VAG specialist.

We use ODIS (Offboard Diagnostic Information System) — Volkswagen Group’s own diagnostic and programming platform. This gives us exactly the same software update and coding capability as Audi, VW, ŠKODA and SEAT main dealers, at a fraction of the cost.

Because we hold a valid ODIS licence, we can access the same technical information and procedures as any main dealer — without the main dealer premium.

DSG and S-Tronic software & adaptation

DSG and S-Tronic dual-clutch gearboxes are software-intensive — shift behaviour, clutch engagement, and torque limits are all software-controlled. After a service or clutch pack replacement, gearbox adaptation must be performed correctly for smooth operation. We have extensive DSG experience across the full VAG range.

Performance remapping and optimisation

If you want more from your VAG car — whether improved throttle response, economy remapping, or full Stage 1 power upgrades — our specialist team can advise and carry out calibrated, proven remaps. We only offer remaps that we trust for reliability and drivability. All remaps are reversible, and we always keep a copy of the original file.
